Double garage door
Double garage door is one of the oldest garage door systems. These doors are called double-wing because they open and close with individual wing segments (left wing and right wing). Due to this mode of operation, it can be installed between wall openings, moved to the inside or outside.
This method of installation or operation is ideal for garages without lintels or when some kind of installation runs across the lintel, as the door is installed in a light opening. This type of door is extremely useful if your garage is too small and it is increased by mounting double doors on the external facade.
Isolation
The insulated double garage door features a good sealing capability. The high safety of double-insulated door wings means that these doors are ideal for garages that are not only used for vehicles, but also to help maintain a constant internal temperature.
A garage used for an office, a workshop, a relaxation room, a gym or just for storage of extra household items that are not kept in the house, will be more comfortable with insulated double doors. Double garage doors are well-sealed throughout the entire frame, preventing dust, leaves, mice or rain from entering the garage.
In addition, insulated double garage doors offer production of up to max. width X height = 250 cm) and a wide choice of colours and finishes.
Why Isolation?
There are three simple reasons for choosing insulated double garage doors:
1. greater strength of the panel due to improved safety,
2. excellent thermal insulating properties,
3. to break the heat bridge, which consequently prevents condensation of garage doors on the inside!
No insulated double garage door supplied by KIP KOP d.o.o. contain CFCs, they are filled with polyurethane foam and the galvanized steel construction panel has double sheathing.
The 40 mm thick construction of the filler offers exceptional strength and reduces the damage caused by collision or impacts.
Properly installed insulated double garage doors offer an incredibly high U value = 0.50W / m2 level C and, in winter, reduce the cost of heating in adjacent rooms, such as storage rooms and the like, maintaining an unchanged temperature in the garage throughout the year, which is ideal for storing precious collectibles or other valuable objects that could be damaged in humid conditions. On request, additional accessories are available to further improve the insulation properties (additional sealing gaskets, sealing brushes...)
Materials
Double garage doors are made of panel plates/fillers, which consist of two layers of galvanized steel with finely powdered finish. The supplier of double garage door panels is a recognised Swiss company TECSEDO. The structure of double garage door filling is usually double-coated with an insulating core. The thickness of the door filler with double coating is 40 mm.
The filling of the double door is covered on the outside with a pattern of natural wood that gives them a practical and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The smoothly processed filler has a simple modern look that complements modern architecture. These double garage doors are known as "FLAT" doors. There are also doors covered with laminate foil in the appearance of gold or dark oak, mahogany or walnut. We also offer samples with a cassette motif or "cubes".
The basic price usually covers a door wing with a woodgrain structure, except for the RAL 9007 colour, where the smooth single-line motif is included in the basic price!

Operation
All double door garage doors can be manually operated after an additional order but also remotely, in any case the operation is very smooth and quiet thanks to its excellent construction and design elements.

Double garage doors consist of high-quality aluminium frames.
Size
Technical capability of double garage doors allows the door to be manufactured up to max. width of 250cm and max. height of 250cm.

Anti-theft security
Double garage doors are certainly one of the safest types of doors, especially due to the excellent design of the filler, a high-quality aluminium profiles, and the fact that at least 5 hinges hold the door in aluminium profiles on each side, offering excellent resistance against attempts of violent entry.
Standard handles are anodised aluminium with cylindrical lock.
One door wing opening
Double garage door offers a possibility of opening only one door wing, this is an excellent solution for households who use the garage regularly, but not necessarily just for the storage of vehicles. Access to the refrigerator, tools, bicycles, etc. is easy if you have the option of opening only one door wing that you can use without having to open the entire garage door.
Standard high security can be achieved with an upper door closure to ensure that the door is always closed/open. The doorstep is only 19 mm high and access for bicycles, mopeds or wheelbarrows is really very simple.
Weather seals
Double garage doors have high-quality rubber seals already installed in the aluminium door frame. Double garage doors, fitted properly with respect to levelled floors, can offer excellent sealing against wind, rain and insects.
Light openings
Openings for light can be installed in the door or we can make the entire light panel. Light openings can be supplied in the colour of the door, in different colours or, at the request of the customer, powder colouring of the light panel is carried out.

Sectional overhead garage doors from our production have a long lifetime due to high-quality materials. Moreover, they also have a long warranty period, taking into account the recommended annual service, which is:

12 years on panels (on corrosion of panels, which means a hole through the panel,
- 2 years on electronics and other moving components!
